The Kanis Family

So I thought I'd let you in on what's been happening at our house lately....

Benjamin has started to "walk" backwards across the kitchen in his KidWalk:) I haven't been able to get it on video yet and Gary hasn't seen it yet but I will try get it on video sometime. Benjamin had to be taken to the ER on Monday and was diagnosed with early stage pneumonia as well as a double ear infection. So he was put on very strong antibiotics but these make him very cranky as they hurt his tummy. So it's been a long week here at the Kanis house. Plus the fact that I only had a nurse one day this week. But in some respects it's also been great times.

I've been doing touchup painting on our walls this week. Since the boys don't feel good a lot of the time all they want to do is watch the praise dvds we have. This keeps them occupied while I paint. I'm about 1/2 way but it seems to be going ok. We haven't been able to get out for a walk since they're feeling so lousy but hopefully next week we'll be able to.

Kyle is walking now- still a bit wobbly. It amazes me that he can stay up when he's so wobbly. He still likes to crawl if he needs to get somewhere fast. He loves to try sneak in the bathroom if someone opens the door. And the other day he decided he was going to climb up on our kitchen chairs and then on the table. I came in the kitchen and here he is sitting in the middle of the table looking proud as punch. Well, I don't mind him on the chairs but the kitchen table is just a tad bit high for him. What a goofball.

I also went to a swap meet this week and got a little table for them for them for outside. I can't wait until summer when they can use it:)
