I know that I haven't updated in a while. Just been really busy and had a down period where I didn't really know what to write.

A lot has happened since I last updated. Benjamin got bronchiolitis a couple weeks ago and went up drastically on his oxygen. He was at 200ccs of oxygen and went up to 2.5L of oxygen. He went to Children's right after this bout and we were told that he could have congestive heart failure because of his pulminary hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs). We were told he'd probably be admitted to Children's. Fortunately, that was not the case. They did a chest x-ray and a few blood tests and said the his increase in oxygen was just due to the virus he had. Meanwhile we almost lost our space in Abbotsford since they were told he was being admitted to Children's. Thankfully we came back to Abbotsford. Since then he has been slowly going down on his oxygen and we have been working on the paperwork for his homecoming:) On November 27 he has to have a heart catheter done at Children's to check out his heart because of the risk of heart failure due to pulminary hypertension. He also has to have a G-tube inserted some time in the near future since he doesn't have the energy to bottle. Hopefully the paperwork will be done by November 27 and then as soon as he is stable after the surgeries, he can come home. We are really excited as well as really nervous. It will be a big adjustment for us, having him home on oxygen but we are looking forward to it.

Kyle is doing well at home. He is a little peanut compared to Benjamin since Benjamin is at least 2 lbs. heavier.
