Sunday, April 1

Well, the honeymoon period is over. Benjamin is doing well. He is getting fed now and is tolerating it. They hope to have him on full feeds by tonight. For the first time in his life, he is doing better than his brother.

Kyle is slightly more unstable. He is not getting fed as his stomach is a bit bloated. They took a chest x-ray and are hoping to find out why his stomach is bloated. It could be that it takes a while for his plumbing to get back to normal after surgery. They just want to make sure it's nothing bigger than that.

They are talking about transferring them back to Royal Columbian today. It depends on the results from Kyle's x-ray and on his condition. It also depends on whether there's space at Royal Columbian.

Gary and Greta...I have not had much of a chance to read your blog this week and it broke my heart to know that you had the stress of both your babies going through PDA surgery...I am so very glad that they did so well and I know that this will much improve their health...I am still praying for you and I hope that things start improving for you...My prayers are with you....Shadow Cat

Way to go Benjamin and Kyle! What little superstars! God continues to perform miracles in your family and I know there are more to come. I am thrilled to hear all went well in the surgeries! I can't wait to meet them one day. Greta and Gary, you two are doing magnificantly in the eye of the storm and are the greatest parents your boys could have. All our love and prayers
