Kathleen & I are here at Children's. It took 2 1/2 hours to get here with all the snow & accidents. Both boys are doing good today.
Kyle is back on feeds- 5ml every 2 hours. It will go up 1 ml every feed as he tolerates it. He is doing good ventilator wise as well- 21-25% oxygen set at 35 breaths per minute. (This is good for those of you who don't work in the NICU).
Benjamin is having a bit of a harder time ventilation wise. He is set at 45-50% oxygen set at 45 breaths per minute. He is on full feeds- 13 ml every 2 hours. His face is a bit puffy still- they think it's from the morphine. I'll have to keep an eye on this and ask about it again.
They are hopefully getting transferred back to RCH today. But you know how it goes. Hopefully it's not like last Wednesday.
