Benjamin’s blood gas came back high today so they had to turn the pressure up on his ventilator. We got the results back from the blood test that they took the other day. The infection has not gone to his blood so that is really good; it is just at the incision site. Nana was his nurse today. She said that he smiled for her. He weighs 1100 grams now.
Kyle didn’t really like his nurse today. I don’t blame him as she wasn’t that gentle. I asked Harjit to be one of his primary nurses and she said “yes”. So hopefully tomorrow he’ll have her. I got to hold him today but Kyle was breathing really fast. I think he didn’t like the nurse he had and that upset him today. He also got separated from his brother and is in a different pod at the other end of the nursery. I wonder if he realizes this. He weighs 1135 grams now.

I am glad that Betty and Ollie gave me this blog site, so I can know exactly how your two little ones are doing and pray for that. Thanks for keeping it up! I hope Kyle gets the nurse he likes too, it must really make a difference to have the right one. Good to hear about Benjamin's infection not being in his blood! Maybe soon they can be put back together as well. As always, continued prayers..... Stef
