Wednesday, March 28

Today was quite the emotional rollercoaster. When I arrived at the hospital, I was told that both boys would be transferred to Children’s today for surgery. I was happy and nervous at the same time. Happy that they would both be going for surgery at the same time but yet nervous about the surgery. I know that it will be good for them but it’s still hard to think of our boys undergoing surgery. Well, after 8 hours of back and forth yo-yoing we were told that the transfer would not be happening today. We were told hopefully tomorrow they would be transferred. So tomorrow will be another emotional day. I really hope that the transfer does go through tomorrow and that they get the surgery done. The surgery would either happen tomorrow or Friday. So we’re praying that all goes well. Please pray for us that we will be able to handle these emotional days and also for the boys that the surgery will go well.

Dear Greta & Gary,
One of my favourite Scripture verses is Isaiah 40:31 - "Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." God will supply all your needs also for the next few days as He has for the past weeks. You and your precious little miracles are always in my prayers.
Love, Mom

Daer Gary & Greta,

You will be in our thoughts and prayers extra in these next few days. Thank you for sitting down to update us even when the news you have to share or the day has been hard. We pray God will not only make a way for the boys to go to Children's but that He will hold them safely in His tender care.

Not only are your boys rascals but they sure are CUTE! Benjamin is a real sweetie with his thumb in his mouth! Does Kyle also like to suck his thumb?

Love, Leanne, Steve, Leah & Sam

Dear Greta and Gary,

Thanks for letting me take you in yesterday and spend the day with you. I witnessed your roller coaster and felt your pain. I know God will be with you and give you strength - he promised "I will never leave you or forsake you" - be sure to keep that in mind. Not only for yourselves but also for Benjamin and Kyle. I last saw your boys the Sunday after they were born and was thrilled at how they have grown and developed. God is SO good!! Our prayer is that they will be transported today - if it has not already happened. You both and the boys are continually on our minds and in our prayers. God's strength go with you.

Love Lydia
