Sunday, March 25

Benjamin was doing really good today. He was very relaxed and was sleeping a lot. He is getting over his pneumonia. He is getting fed 4 ml every 2 hours. He weighs 890 grams (up 10g).

Kyle was desatting a lot today. This is from his PDA. It is very hard to watch him having his sudden dips. He is going for surgery this week. In one way we are looking forward to it because it will stabilize him but yet it is very scary to think about. We also will only get 2 hours to a day notice of when he is going in. He is getting fed 10 ml every 2 hours- that is 2 full bottles a day. He weighs 915 grams.

Yesterday we went out and bought a diaper bag with the present from Grandpa & Grandma Hansma. We were both very excited about it and both like the diaper bag. Yes, I know it sounds weird being excited about buying a diaper bag but it’s one of the few things we can do that makes us feel like parents.

Prayers for you two for both strength and peace as you go into this uncertain week. I know that God gives both of these, and gives them sufficiently enough to get through even the biggest storms. I can't imagine what this is like for you two, but I do know that God gave me that same strength and peace to get through things I didn't think I would get through at all. Know I am also praying for this same strength and peace for you and your boys constantly. Love in Christ,

Stef (Betty and Ollies' friend)

Praying that you may buy many more diaper bags. They just don't make them like they used to! Don't underestimate the role you have as parents in your boys' lives already. They know your voice and perhaps your touch too. As you do... we look forward to hearing you going out buying them the endless diapers they will go through!!! You and your family hold a a special place in our prayers and hearts this week.

Dear Gary & Greta,

Thanks for letting us visit you and the boys on Saturday afternoon. We were touched by how in tune you are with your precious little boys...even it if often has to be through the isolette plastic! You are doing an amazing job of being there for them in so many ways. We are praying that God will protect little Kyle through his surgery, that He will give you the peace and strength to go through that time as well and that He will continue to provide healing from pneumonia for Benjamin.

Our love and prayers are always with you.

Love Robert & Sandra XO

You are all amazing! We are praying for you daily and we would like to second Tim and Inge, you are the best parents these boys could have. They are looking better each time I check out their blog. God is so good and I know He will carry all of you through this. Your boys are blessed beyond measure to have you two for parents. You have incredible dedication and strength and I know your boys can sense that already. Lots of Love and Prayers
