Yesterday we had the Grandparents over for dinner. The boys really enjoyed spending time with them before bedtime. One funny thing that happened… Grandma H gave her gifts to the boys. In one bag she had a monster truck for Benjamin and in Kyle’s bag there was a dvd for the boys to share and a monster truck for Kyle. Well, Kyle took the dvd out of his bag and in the meantime Benjamin opened his gift and took out the monster truck. So Kyle promptly throws the dvd on Benjamin’s lap and starts taking Benjamin’s monster truck not realizing that there was also one in his gift bag. It was very humorous to see!! Once he realized there was one in his bag too he was quite pleased.
Today we had a small kids birthday party. The moms came along too, which was a real help since I am 2 ½ weeks away from being due. The boys really enjoyed themselves and were quite tuckered out by the end of the party. They slept for 2 hours right after everyone left. During which time, tired mom also rested:) This afternoon they are playing with all their new gifts. I think they don’t really know which one to play with since they keep going from one to the next to the next. Tonight we are going to have KFC for dinner since that is Kyle’s favorite food. Hopefully next year Benjamin will be eating and will have a favorite food too. For now he enjoys playing with fries and sometimes putting them to his face.
