This is the day it all started. My water broke at 5:30 pm. It was very unexpected and I didn’t know what was happening. I phoned the hospital to ask them about it and they said to come in right away. As we were getting in the car I got very scared because I was soaked. We got to the hospital and they gave me drugs to stop labor. They were trying to get me to Women’s Hospital but were told that they were full. They were mentioning Edmonton or Seattle but fortunately Royal Columbian was able to switch around a few things and find room for us.
